*Introductory theme tune*

My brain hurts.

Rules of the quiz:
- One answer per person (per round)
- Always give the answer you think the fewest amount of people would know
- If two people give the same answer in a short space of time, the first person's answer will be accepted (but the second can answer again)
- When applicable, a player may pick the same subject as another contestant and provide a different answer if they believe the other to be incorrect
- If you play the first round, please check back in case you make it through to Round #2
- Resist cheating (i.e. looking up answers; asking others)

And of course, respect your fellow contestants and have fun!

Round #1 will be posted shortly and will remain open until Monday (or, when applicable, until each answer is taken) to give everyone a chance of replying.

* offtopic :
The records of previous winners and pointless answers can be found here.

That was the answer Sierra gave in a tie once; for everyone's future reference, the game doesn't count him as a John (just because he didn't go by it).

(I didn't realise until I was doing the results that time, but since we've mentioned it before.)

Yes, I thought I was so sneaky obscure with that one.

ROUND #1

Your first category this quiz is...

QUARTETS

And the question concerns...

GROUPS OF FOUR

(Yeah, same thing.) A bit of a different format today. I'm going to show you a list of six things that are all groups of four. I'm looking for anything that fits into any of the groups. As always: the more obscure, the better. Here we go.

MEMBERS OF THE MONKEES

PRESIDENTS OF THE USA KNOWN BY THE FIRST NAME JOHN

COUNTRIES OF THE EU THAT BEGIN WITH 'S' IN ENGLISH

FEATURE FILMS STARRING HARRISON FORD AS INDIANA JONES

THE US STATES THAT MEET AT THE POINT CALLED 'FOUR CORNERS'

THE KARDASHIAN SIBLINGS (Not step)

So two members of The Monkees, two presidents, three EU countries, all four Harrison Ford films, one US state, and all four Kardashian siblings still available.

Always nice to have someone new; hopefully they remember to check the results and will play again in the future.

Out of curiosity, have you all avoided the Kardashians because you think all four would be too high or because you didn't want to say them?

Well done, Sierra! You were right about JOHN TYLER. But what I said on the previous page about different questions making people think differently can be true - in the past round I talked about there, JOHN F. KENNEDY scored 25, and in this round he scored slightly more than double that - 54 points.

JOHN ADAMS scored 8 points.

DAVY JONES of THE MONKEES scored 29 points; he was the only Monkees member we didn't have.

SWEDEN scored 46 and SLOVENIA did slightly better than Slovakia on 16 points.

There was one Indiana Jones film that would've seen you through... KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL only scored 3 points.

LAST CRUSADE scored 9, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK scored 18, and TEMPLE OF DOOM scored 34.

So many things I could have gone for. I'm not good at this choosing thing. What did the Kardashians score?

What the heck are the Four Corners? And why would two more people know that New Mexico is one?

Same here but it seems par for the course with the English. Shit they should know, they dont. But shit they shouldn't know, they do.
