Hi folks!

Hope someone can assist with this plea for help?!

I don't know exactly why, but a tune I last heard in about 1985 on pirate radio (the station used to be called 'JFM' and would broadcast for about 4 hours on a Sunday) has started lodging in my head ...trouble is I don't know what it's called or who it's by ?!!

From what I remember, it's a latin-jazz number sung by a woman. I seem to recall the phrase "..can't sleep, I wish my baby was around" being used more than once, and the line "oh my darling, in the daytime I have things to do and I don't feel the emptiness right now"

Can anyone please help me identify this song ??

Many, many thanks for any help offered.

Truly appreciated.

Warmest regards,

Dom

Thank you for the kind suggestions, roxcyn, but I'm afraid it's none of these. (I think they may be way too recent, as I'd already estimated that the tune I'm trying to trace was knocking about in roughly 1985, and goodness knows how old it might've been then ?!!)
Thanks again for trying, though. Much appreciated!

Dom

Found it at last !! It's a track called "Can't Sleep" by a female pianist named Joanne Grauer with guest vocals performed by Lorraine Feather !!

Thanks for the update. That's a nice song and I've never head of it.
