*Introductory theme tune*

Dedicated to Kim Jong-un's new hairstyle.

Rules of the quiz:
- One answer per person (per round)
- Always give the answer you think the fewest amount of people would know
- If two people give the same answer in a short space of time, the first person's answer will be accepted (but the second can answer again)
- When applicable, a player may pick the same subject as another contestant and provide a different answer if they believe the other to be incorrect
- If you play the first round, please check back in case you make it through to Round #2
- Resist cheating (i.e. looking up answers; asking others)

And of course, respect your fellow contestants and have fun!

Round #1 will be posted shortly and will remain open until Monday (or, when applicable, until each answer is taken) to give everyone a chance of replying.

* offtopic :
The records of previous winners and pointless answers can be found here.

That was the one I wasn't able to get. B's gone for BABY BOY. This is not the song I thought it was when the show was on. I don't think I know either of these. Anyway, let's see what it scores - needs to take us past two for B to win the point.

Ten! A good score, but not quite low enough. Jen took the best answer on the board, so there wasn't anything you could do.

YAY! I know Work It Out was in Goldmember when she played Foxxy Cleopatra. I was hoping that since it was 13 years ago, people wouldn't remember it as well. Great guess, B! I like that song.

You mean Goldmombeans.

I guess I do know that one; I've seen the film a few times (though not for years).

I remember liking Baby Boy, but I can't remember how it goes now.

I was confusing it with Naughty Girl. I was thinking, "Tonight, I'll be your baby boy..."

...I don't know why Beyonce would be singing that...
Joeyy

Joeyy | 25-02-2015 17:30
BABY BOY actually not the second best score on the board - LISTEN was, for half the points (5).

And what do we think scored more, SINGLE LADIES or CRAZY IN LOVE?

Juliet86 | 25-02-2015 17:38
Single Ladies is my guess.
Joeyy

Joeyy | 25-02-2015 17:42
Yep, but only by two points. SINGLE LADIES (PUT A RING ON IT) scored 23 and CRAZY IN LOVE scored 21.

HEAD-TO-HEAD, PART 2

OK, B, got to win this one to stay in it. Good luck to you both. Your second question concerns...

YOGA POSES

I'm going to show you images of five yoga poses, as well as the initials of their names. Can you name the most obscure?

A
B
C
D
E

...I don't know why Beyonce would be singing that...

i think beyoncé forgot a comma there.

i might have the advantage on this one as i actually do yoga. i know them all, but for one of them, the name i know is different than the initial provided. so scratch that one. now to think.. what would score the least...

i'll go with A - downward facing dog

just because there are more words so there's a chance people got them wrong.

Haha, I don't think she sings that, does she? That was just me confusing the lyrics of Naughty Girl.

I didn't know (or at least remember) you did yoga.

I know basically nothing about yoga. I tried it once, it wasn't a pretty sight.

ok, E = Warrior (II)

I think B wins this yoga round.

Sorry for the wait. Yoga is strange. My Mum took it up last year. Some of the positions...I just can't believe they're relaxing.

B's said DOWNWARD FACING DOG. How low will that take us?

I won't draw it out any more; I know B wants to hear what the long T one is. Hopefully I've not chosen an image showing the wrong pose (I place all blame on Google if I did. )... C is the THUNDERBOLT post, and it was a pointless answer.

DOWNWARD FACING DOG was the second best answer on the board, but jointly with COBRA, which also scored 16.

TREE scored 37.

right? i knew it as hero pose, but never heard of thunderbolt. then again, i'm not one of those crazy yoga people who really get into it, haha. i just do it to help with the flexibility.

HEAD-TO-HEAD, DECIDER

Well done to you both for bringing it down to a decider. Good luck! Your final question concerns...

PICASSO

Five clues to facts about Picasso, can you give me the most obscure answer?

HIS FIRST NAME

HE MOVED TO THIS COUNTRY IN 1904

THE TITLE OF HIS REVOLUTIONARY 1906/7 WORK 'LES DEMOISELLES __________'

NAME OF THE MOVEMENT HE FOUNDED WITH BRAQUE

NAME OF THE BASQUE TOWN WHICH LENT ITS NAME TO A 1937 WORK BY PICASSO

THE TITLE OF HIS REVOLUTIONARY 1906/7 WORK 'LES DEMOISELLES __________' - d'avignon

NAME OF THE BASQUE TOWN WHICH LENT ITS NAME TO A 1937 WORK BY PICASSO - Guernica

Two great-sounding answers there. Let's find out which is the lowest scorer. B has said D'AVIGNON is the missing word from his 1906/7 work. How far down the column will that take us?

So four's the score to beat for this quiz's title. Jen's given us GUERNICA as the town (Chrome's corrected spelling suggestion: COPERNICAN)

Will it score lower than four?
