Eminem -- the next Courtney Love?

Ok, we've all heard Eminem's songs and seen news coverage of his court battles and seen his movie...but is anyone as bored as I am about him? I mean, I'm sure he's a talented (!) rapper and all, but I think his time in the spotlight is about over. I haven't heard a big deal about his mooning the audience at the MTV thing or whatever. Do you think he's gonna do something stupid to try to pop back in the headlines? Or is he just gonna become a washed-up has-been trying to get people to buy his albums by flashing them?

2 posts	look people i dont care what you think of eminem but let me tell you something eminem is a very talented rapper and he'll never be out of the spotlight. you want to know why... because he made something of himself he worked damn hard and it means to much to him to let himself go out of the spotlight... i happen to know that he wont rap for the rest of his life but he'll be in the music business for ever!!! and i'm sure that no one will ever forget him.... i know i wont and just for the record hes not overrated your just not understanding wut hes trying to say

14,969 posts	he can flash me all he wants i prefered him when he was sincere. my band was just one big joke, the whole tanning thing at the beginning, the boyband jabs and that stupid salsa bit. its all a bit lame really. i want more of the good stuff like 'stan' and 'real slim shady' and 'guilty conciense'. i hope he doesnt become a washed-up has-been, he's too good for that..

4 posts	Personally I don't think he'll become washed up, I just think we'll hear about him less. I reckon he'll be like Dre and move into producing and all that. He seems to be a fairly shrewd business-man despite all the stupid stuff he does. If he weren't I doubt he would have ever gotten this far.

2,609 posts	people obviously dont realize that eminems music is all different from Infinate to Slim Shady to Marshall Mathers to The Eminem Show to Encore he talks about different stuff n he gets older hes not gonna keep rapping about the same stuff over n over. either way someones gonna find something wrong with him. so if u dont support him now then ur not an actual eminem fan n ur not either if u just think hes hot n thats the only reason u listen to his music (girls)
