| Nothing Else Matters - Metallica
really easy to play.. play all open strings. 6th string > 3rd > 2nd > 1st > 2nd >3rd
and then repeat the process.
Other easy songs.
You're Beautiful - James Blunt
In Loving Memory - Alter Bridge
Be With You - Enrique Eglesias (not sure bout the spellings.. lol )
I Walk The Line - Johnny Cash (notes only on the sixth string)
And loads more.
The basic thing is.. play with confidence. Dont get discouraged looking at Kirk hammett or Joe satriani.. lol. And experiment with your guitar.. or else you wont get anywhere!

I just got my guitar during the summer, but haven't really got around to learning it much yet.

Any time you see a b or a ^ beside a number on a tab, it means bend that note
e--0-----------------
b--1--------------------
g--0h2-------------------
d--0h2-----------------
a--0---------------
E---------------
the h means hammer on the notes beside the h
in short play the initial chord with all the open strings and immediately hammer the notes down next to it | 19-04-2007 21:31 coolbeans | 1 posts

| hey i just started playing, well actually i havent i just got my first guitar and i was wondering if there are any easy tabs out there that dont have chords in them? please help me with this because i have been searching and havent found anything with just notes not chords | 25-06-2007 10:26 EzyRyder | 96 posts
| You better start out with chords. You gotta learn them sometime anyway...
@fishmunky
There's this technique angus young uses in the song "AC/DC - Hell's Bells". Its right at the end before the A-G-A ending riff. If you watch the video, you'll notice
he's holding some chord high up on the fretboard and tapping one of the strings over the neck pick-up (not on the fretboard). What exactly is he doing? I've never heard of this kind of a technique before... | 25-06-2007 10:35 EzyRyder | 96 posts
| I meant to post this in "fishmunky's guitar thread". Make it a sticky maybe? Cause it was kinda hard to find... | 03-08-2007 23:11 Moskau |
