I just started playing guitar about two months ago and I was wondering what songs would be easy to begin on?

This website is great: www.powertabs.net

You'll have to download this free program (Power tab editor) "http://www.power-tab.net/downloads.php" . The tabs you download can be played in this program where you'll also see the tabs!

Am I seeing it correctly but did you say One from Metallica. Thats one of the hardest metallica songs to play, the solo is so hard.

as is the main solo is i believe in a thing called love...from a beginner's perspective

also scar tissue as an amazing yet hard to play accurate slide guitar solo that i wouldnt recommend to a beginner player

fyi...shortest straw > one as far as guitar solo difficulty goes

Oh thank God for this thread. I have tons of tabs but wasn't quite sure how to play them. Now I just feel stupid for not figuring it out.

Don't play Smells like Teen Spirit. Just play any Iron Maiden riff that uses power chords..or Metallica.

I think the best way to use palm muting is tremolo picking the same note over and over again..

Okay, well, you know how you hold down the sting, do you pluck the string that you're holding down? Or do you play another string? I really need help with the guitar..

Yes. The fret (the number you see on tabs) is the one you pick. If you see an '0' on the tab, it means it's an open string, so you pick that string without holding down any frets...
