one of my favorites is i'll always love you by michael johnson. you'll have to use a capo though.

hash pipe by weezer, it's probably the easiest song to play. open open 2 3 on the 6th string.

anything by blink 182. anything. mxtabs is the best place to look. also "the sweater song" by weezer. its easy and cool. all punk song are basically just like 3 or 4 powerchords.

All Nirvana songs r quite easy to play, I started with them!

good songs could be: Polly, Come as you are, Rape me, Dumb, Pennyroyal tea... They all sound great on an accoustic guitar!

1=e= thinnest string at the bottom
2=b
3=g
4=d
5=a
6=E= low E string the thickest string...the top one

E------------------
the number represent the fret on which string your supposed to be playing on...something like this play each note seperately

e----------------------
b----------------------
g------ --------------
d---5--7----------------
a---5--7-----------------
E---3--5-----------------
same idea except play all the notes together (its a chord)
