Anyone out there a listener of ckck radio Regina Saskatchewan back in the early seventies? There are 2 songs that got some airplay that struck me as a kid listening to prairie am radio. The first lyrics are from the chorus and it goes like this:
'Why can't I think of
something to say
Instead of all the same old tired cliches
Like nice to see you
see you around
goodbye'

The second goes like this (no lie) and is a country and western tune:
'you called me the weiner in your barbeque of love
instead of the apple of my eye'

If anyone knows the artist of title of either I would be forever in gratitude...
