I feel kind of bad winning again with another lame post...sorry about that.

The following is a paid broadcast from Stanley...

*insert commercial jingle*

Please, people, let's not forget what the great HappyLion said when he first opened this thread back in '02...

Tired of "favorite..."s and "hate..."s?
Tired of religious wars?
Tired of disputes over words like "gay"?
Feeling random...?

Or are you just one of those people who don't make any sense anyway...?

THEN DROP BY THE RANDOMNESS, THE PLACE WHERE YOU CAN JUST GET THAT WEIRDNESS OFF YOUR MIND!

-----------------------R U L E S-------------------------

1. Posts in this thread (with this one as a possible exception...) may make no sense whatsoever!

2. Try to read all existing posts before posting a new one...

3. DO NOT USE MORE THAN 3 SMILEYS PER POST!

4. BE ORIGINAL!

5. Have fun for Christ's sake!

I love how our brains make associations like that. To this day, there are certain songs I can't listen to without automatically thinking a specific song will be played next, because that was the case on an old tape or CD I had when I was 14-18.

I can't believe we bought a huge tree. First year in 15 years we bought a real tree.

For me, non-Christmas movies that I think of as Christmas movies because they're annually played on TV around that time of the year: The HP films, definitely, and the 'Shrek' films... I'm sure there are others I'm missing.

Aw. I've always wanted a real tree. Ours is small, fake, and so wonky that it repeatedly falls on my head when I'm trying to decorate.

Harry Potter is usually shown around Christmas here as well. And I feel like Narnia might be too. I don't think I have any random film traditions of my own.

There were a few songs I used to listen to while playing a specific game, and I still think of the game when I hear any of those songs. I don't think it was a very long period of time I did it, but it is firmly lodged in my brain now, almost ten years later.

It's not called Narnia; it grates my brain when people call it that. "Narnia" is all of them.

That's funny, why would you listen to specific songs when playing a game?

Maybe I meant all of them? I don't know which of them might be, I just have a general Narnia feeling.

There was a preview of the album on MySpace and the game was also on MySpace, and I didn't have a lot of music on the computer back then.

Then an implication of the plural should be there. Haha, general Narnia feeling. I think that might be the same here, actually. I have a feeling they showed 'The Voyage of the Dawn Treader' last Christmas.

The first does have a Christmassy feel; Santa (...) comes to visit them, doesn't he? And the first HP has a Christmas scene, if memory serves correctly.

I can't remember. It's been too long. But yes, I'm sure there's a Christmas scene in the first Harry Potter.

My dad's basketball team is finally getting inducted to our schools hall of fame because in 1982, they went 23-0.

Yeah, there has to be. The jumpers, haha.

I feel like I can manipulate you, Lisa, into re-reading a few series just by talking about them.

Lego, the dog I've been babysitting, somehow bit the eye off my little teddy bear. I'm glad he didn't swallow it.

Haha, yeah, you know I'm the same about a few things.
