I feel kind of bad winning again with another lame post...sorry about that.

The following is a paid broadcast from Stanley...

Please, people, let's not forget what the great HappyLion said when he first opened this thread back in '02...

Tired of "favorite..."s and "hate..."s?
Tired of religious wars?
Tired of disputes over words like "gay"?
Feeling random...?

Or are you just one of those people who don't make any sense anyway...?

THEN DROP BY THE RANDOMNESS, THE PLACE WHERE YOU CAN JUST GET THAT WEIRDNESS OFF YOUR MIND!

-----------------------R U L E S-------------------------

1. Posts in this thread (with this one as a possible exception...) may make no sense whatsoever!

2. Try to read all existing posts before posting a new one...

3. DO NOT USE MORE THAN 3 SMILEYS PER POST!

Count me in, too. Microbrews, scotch, I'm down for either.

While you're both here I have a ton of desserts from Christmas: a chocolate cake, apple pie, pecan pie, and a bunch of assorted cookies.

Basically, because one doesn't like the other.

But we have one girl who is leaving next week, and there has been a lot of crap around her because she's really just not a nice person to work with. One of those who complains about having to do more than the minimum, although she will do what's asked of her she complains about it being too much (when it's really not). For example: Our boss asked both she and I to work extra hours this week, she complained every day about it. I was actually asked to add more hours than she was.

On Christmas Eve the other girl had a bunch of issues with her cash and slips being wrong. She was suppose to close her drawer and go in the back to start scanning work at 2:30, but she kept taking customers (and talking to them for 5-10 minutes each) and then messed up even more because she wasn't logged into the right username. Had to correct a ton of work, so the other three of us had to scan the work while she fixed her mess. It was super annoying, but really not a huge deal. We still made it out of there by 3:30 like we were all scheduled.

The girl who's leaving though was super pissed about it and wrote a long email to our boss about how the other girl is always wrong on her work, her drawer is always off, she takes too much time talking, doesn't pay enough attention, blahblahblah and then took it upon herself to say that WE ALL don't like working with her.

From there, the one who got "tattled on" was pissed at all of us because of what the other said. I'm honestly quite pissed that the other took it upon herself to decide how I felt about the situation, because she got it wrong. Really can't wait for her to be gone honestly.

Wow Sarah, part of the day you have to deal with her, and the other part of your day is dealing with my bs. Damn, props to you.

School definitely looks better because my anxiety has decided to stfu for once. And people are actually treating me not like dirt anymore.

Trust me, Jeff. Your crap here really does not affect me in the least outside of the forum, and it really doesn't affect me much here either.

lol @ the idea that Jeff had the pain tolerance to work out with a torn MCL.

I'm celebrating Christmas tomorrow. I bought my brothers some Pittsburgh beers from my favorite brewery. I plan to get wasted with them tomorrow. We don't see each other much anymore. Drinking and dipping and bullshitting about sports for about 5 hours.

I'm about to go get some apple pie with ice cream, eat it and go to bed. I don't even care that it's only 9 pm. It would also be a late Christmas miracle if Bryan could sleep until 9 tomorrow, giving me a full 10+ hour nights sleep. That would be fantastic.

Is it f'd up that I'm more comfortable meeting new people than I am hanging out with friends?

Depends on the reason/s behind it, I guess.

Nah not at all. Meeting new people is easy because you they don't actually know you. You can just be whatever you want, at least thats how i look at it.

Something's gone wrong somewhere if you're not very comfortable around actual friends, though, unless it's a casual definition of friendship.

Buddy got a bunch of dj stuff between thanksgiving and christmas. We're having a little thing, so he brought it all and set it up. We asked him i he had a dj name yet and he said no. Within an hour we had one for him.
