Question about multiple albums with the same title

Today I began working on the artist Billy Burnette, who has three albums titled Billy Burnette - in 1972, 1979, and 1980. I submitted the 1972 one, however, when I try to submit the 1979 one, it gives me this message:

"An album with the same title is already in the archive here. Please avoid double entries of the same album and use the correct option if you think this album is not accurate."

So, how am I supposed to add these? I'm also a little confused because another artist I'm familiar with that has multiple albums with the same name, The Bronx, has all of their same-titled albums in the archive just fine.

They're not the same; the years are after them. Put the years after the self-titled albums.

I know, I did that already (screenshot for proof). Why would I submit the other two albums with the same year if I mentioned they had different years?

The last part of your post confuses me. You don't appear to have done it. I mean put the year after the album name in the title. In the example you gave - The Bronx albums - the names are not the same; they each have their years in the title.

No, they don't. They simply appear that way in the album listings, because the albums are listed by year on an artist's page. If you look at the individual album pages (here, here, and here) they all are titled The Bronx without the year in the title.

...I knew that. If you can't/won't do that, try put a #1 or (1) after the first and ordering them that way?

What do you mean? Like Billy Burnette #1?

I'd like to know how to add them without modifying the original title like those Bronx cases, though. There has to be a way if it was done there. Maybe someone else here knows.

Yes, like that.

Maybe they do; I hope so, but it's possible the albums by The Bronx were added at a time when the site features were different. There are more limitations now than there used to be. Yet perhaps Sierra will have a better suggestion.

Yeah, I'll wait until an input from Sierra before adding those 2 albums. Maybe you're right, maybe the site limitations were different back then.

Agh - and coincidentally, I just ran into this again, with the artist Animotion having two albums named Animotion, both in 1984 and 1989.

Thanks. How did you do it?

Oh, also, could you add two same-titled albums in The Bronx's archive - Mariachi El Bronx released in 2011, and The Bronx released in 2013.

Thanks for creating those, but you still haven't answered my question. How did you create these? Are mods simply able to create same-titled albums?

Running into this problem again - I need to create another self-titled album in Randy Meisner's archive. One already exists, but another self-titled album was released in 1982.
