Oh wow, I get to make another one! First win for me as well.
---------------------------------------------------------

The following is a paid broadcast from Stanley...

*insert commercial jingle*

Please, people, let's not forget what the great HappyLion said when he first opened this thread back in '02...

Tired of "favorite..."s and "hate..."s?
Tired of religious wars?
Tired of disputes over words like "gay"?
Feeling random...?

Or are you just one of those people who don't make any sense anyway...?

THEN DROP BY THE RANDOMNESS, THE PLACE WHERE YOU CAN JUST GET THAT WEIRDNESS OFF YOUR MIND!

-----------------------R U L E S-------------------------

1. Posts in this thread (with this one as a possible exception...) may make no sense whatsoever!

2. Try to read all existing posts before posting a new one...

3. DO NOT USE MORE THAN 3 SMILEYS PER POST!

4. BE ORIGINAL!

5. Have fun for Christ's sake!

6. (Don't) Spam!

Feeling a bit uncomfortable stomach-wise. I had a Psychology class once in which I had no voice. The teacher asked me a question and failed to notice my attempted explanations (was looking at his notes and then just couldn't understand me); it took a few class-mates shouting to him for him to get it. :p Hope yours comes back soon.

Good luck. Sometimes the 'one day at a time' approach is necessary. Always for me, haha. But other than being a coping mechanism, it can help you to enjoy life more, too; really appreciate the better days.

Not getting enough rest while not feeling well is like trying to repair something while it is turned on. Your body can't repair itself properly while you are up and running. It needs you to rest and shut-off for a bit so it can heal.

I am a huge culprit of not resting the rare occasion I get sick. I'll still run around trying to do a hundred things. Most of the time I don't even recognize I'm not well until my body is so worn out it's about to do a force quit shutdown.

I've just remembered/realised I haven't received the results of my last blood test (they said they'd call), but I guess that means it was fine.

Very true, Jen. I'm not guilty of that myself, more the opposite. I watched a documentary earlier about the 2013 shootings at the Westgate shopping mall in Kenya. Sometimes I have to lie down when I'm feeling a bit light-headed or nauseated. A woman was shot through the leg, the bullet leaving through the opposite pelvis, and a girl - I missed the exact location, but it looked like she'd been shot through the stomach. The CCTV showed them walking through the mall and outside like they were taking a stroll. Made me feel pretty weak and cowardly, ha.

You know I just looked at the time and it was 23:12. I watch a few The Voice Battler Highlights videos and all of a sudden it's 00:25. For real? If you're gonna let me play in the TARDIS, it's not fair to use the M.I.B neuralizer on me when you return me an hour later.

One small accident can erase your whole unposted reply.

I'm fine, Carl. I've just finished watching two films and now I'm gonna spend whole night mimicking some of their characters and make my mum laugh a lot.
I love movies!

I've been steering clear of 'The Fault in Our Stars' even though people say it's great (both book and movie). I haven't been in the right frame of mind for that kind of sadness.

Well, they let another 8 people go from the bank I used to work at. There's like no people left. I hope they are merging to fill those spots, because dang. It makes me sad though, letting go all these hard working people at the bottom. Letting go 1 executive could save 5 jobs. I can't say I know what it's like to be at the top, because I've never been an executive, but I feel like they can't keep chopping off limbs to save themselves forever. The board will never get rid of the ones who keep them around. I hope that the bank's financial backers step in soon and make real changes, because what is happening now is just becoming ridiculous.
