Wow, 10 years and this is my first win. Woohoo!!!

Sorry for the delay on creating it, got sidetracked with work
---------------------------------------------------------

The following is a paid broadcast from Stanley...

*insert commercial jingle*

Please, people, let's not forget what the great HappyLion said when he first opened this thread back in '02...

Tired of "favorite..."s and "hate..."s?
Tired of religious wars?
Tired of disputes over words like "gay"?
Feeling random...?

Or are you just one of those people who don't make any sense anyway...?

THEN DROP BY THE RANDOMNESS, THE PLACE WHERE YOU CAN JUST GET THAT WEIRDNESS OFF YOUR MIND!

-----------------------R U L E S-------------------------

1. Posts in this thread (with this one as a possible exception...) may make no sense whatsoever!

2. Try to read all existing posts before posting a new one...

3. DO NOT USE MORE THAN 3 SMILEYS PER POST!

4. BE ORIGINAL!

5. Have fun for Christ's sake!

6. (Don't) Spam!

Ha, I saw someone posting about the shower curtain on facebook. I wouldn't have thought it weird if you had mentioned it.

If we had a shower curtain, I'd get my Mum a periodic table one (ours has glass doors).

Haha, it isn't like you to shy away from something like that.

Been trying to reign in the sex jokes/comments or things I say being taken that way for the last 2 weeks or so.

So if I am receiving severance until August 25th, does that count as an earning income? I'm trying to start filing for unemployment, or 'reemployment assistance' and because I indicated that I am receiving severance right now, it won't let me file until after the 16th. I'm confused, should I say yes and wait to file later, or say no since it's technically not an earned income and see if it will let me file now? My final severance deposit will only cover 1 week, not 2, so I want the unemployment to kick in to help off set that.

I'd say no and see if you can get the unemployment. Worst case they catch on and you say you were confused because you didn't know it was earned income.

I think I answered my own question, I went back to look at it and it said work and earn, so since I am not working to earn, I think I can select 'no' and be ok.

I worry I'd end up in jail if I had more finances to take care of.

Aw. I think you could do it.

Ugh, this is getting silly. So yes, I closed out my 401K to pay down my credit card, so do I include this as an income? I am not receiving 'payments' from it, I received a payment, but I am not truly benefiting from the funds, JP Morgan Chase is. Anyway, I have to scan the unemployment office copies of my severance package documentation, so I guess this will be put on hold for now until I can figure out where to scan this all to myself.

I wouldn't include the 401k unless it specifically asks for that type of payout.

haha, if only, Joey. 401k is a type of savings/retirement program, not $401k.
