I just realised that I haven't included our theme tune in the past couple of quizzes! *Introductory theme tune*

Now that that's sorted, let's play Pointless!

Rules of the quiz:
- One answer per person (per round)
- Always give the answer you think the fewest amount of people would know
- If two people give the same answer in a short space of time, the first person's answer will be accepted (but the second can answer again)
- When applicable, a player may pick the same subject as another contestant and provide a different answer if they believe the other to be incorrect
- If you play the first round, please check back in case you make it through to Round #2
- Resist cheating (i.e. searching online for answers)

And of course, respect your fellow contestants and have fun!

Round #1 will be posted shortly and will remain open until Monday (or, when applicable, until each answer is taken) to give everyone a chance of replying.

* offtopic :
The records of previous winners and pointless answers can be found here.

All right, awesome. You know the rules by now. Your five categories are:

20th CENTURY THEATRE
BRITISH ACTRESSES
CULT NOVELISTS
EUROPEAN GEOGRAPHY
WORDS

To clarify again, THEATRE in this case refers to plays, not films. 20th CENTURY THEATRE and CULT NOVELISTS both have three sub-categories; the others only have one.

Now I'll feel responsible if you don't find a pointless answer. But, EUROPEAN GEOGRAPHY it is!

I gave 100 people 100 seconds to name as many...

NON-EU COUNTRIES THAT BORDER THE EU

...as they could. So, any country which is not a member of the European Union which shares a border with a country that is a member of the European Union.

As usual in this round, please provide three answers, and all you need to "win" is for just one of those answers to be pointless. Very best of luck.

oh, there isn't many to choose from i guess, so that's why there's probably not many pointless answers... think think.

ok, here are my answers from least to most likely to be pointless:

moldova
macedonia
albania

OK, we'll put MOLDOVA first then. Is it right? Will it be pointless? Let's find out.

It is!! Yaaay. I won't do the columns for the other two, because they weren't pointless (there were only four in total), but never mind; you still win our jackpot of nothing.
