* offtopic : its such an escape from the real world .. everything in this book is the way i think it should be - things just seem so right and orderly .. not so insane and chaotic like the world is today .. so much more ... simple.

2. Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen
3. I Capture The Castle, Dodi Smith. An honest book about love! wow!
4. His Dark Materials trilogy, Phillip Pullman (it's 3 books but I own it in one volume so I'm counting it as one, haha)

| 1. 1984 by George Orwell - incredible book - eerie, haunting, yet so realistic...i could not put it down, even after reading it 3 times.
2. Emile and the Detectives - ahh this was my childhood book, it's fantastic!
3. Hitler: My Part In His Downfall by Spike Milligan - this book cracks me up, it's so funny (and there's a history lesson in there somewhere...) |
