umm, i dont have 3 favorite, but - i do have one .. its >> Utopia : Thomas Moore

* offtopic :
its such an escape from the real world .. everything in this book is the way i think it should be - things just seem so right and orderly .. not so insane and chaotic like the world is today .. so much more ... simple.

1. 1984, George Orwell. Lot of important messages and lessons in that book.

2. Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen

3. I Capture The Castle, Dodi Smith. An honest book about love! wow!

4. His Dark Materials trilogy, Phillip Pullman (it's 3 books but I own it in one volume so I'm counting it as one, haha)

5. Every Secret Thing, Gillian Slovo. Depressingly honest about this f*cked up world we live in...

I can't say. Maybe Mette Newth's Det mörke lyset/The dark light/Pimeä Valo was great... and I also like very much Stephen King's books and Marion Zimmer Bradley's Ghostlight was also good.

Very good, you probably didn't get it in America coz its a British film and about 8 years old...I've got it on video. It stays exactly true to the book and the girl who plays Rose is stunningly beautiful..yeah, it's good! lol.

1. 1984 by George Orwell - incredible book - eerie, haunting, yet so realistic...i could not put it down, even after reading it 3 times.

2. Emile and the Detectives - ahh this was my childhood book, it's fantastic!

3. Hitler: My Part In His Downfall by Spike Milligan - this book cracks me up, it's so funny (and there's a history lesson in there somewhere...)
