Stéphane Bern (November 14, 1963-November 1, 2016)
He was a French television and radio host, and loved royals and loyal people too. I remember my mother used to listen to his midday radio show on France Inter, Le Fou du Roi. In 2011-2012, he moved to RTL for a new midday show, À la bonne heure.
He was also a host on television, either on TF1, Canal + or France 2. He hosted Sagas, Célébrités, 20 heures 10 pétantes, Comment ça va bien and more recently, the historical weekly show Secrets d'histoire.
We were both born in the same city.

Leonard Cohen (September 21, 1934-November 10, 2016)
He was a Canadian singer-songwriter. Known for Suzanne, Hallelujah and First We Take Manhattan to name a few, his debut album came out when he was already 33. He divided his time between Montréal, Hydra and Los Angeles. He had 2 children, Adam and Lorca Cohen. With either his songs or his novels, he had influenced many Canadian and American songwriters. Cohen was 82 years old.
I'm a huge fan of his son, who produced his last album You Want It Darker. That's just a sad news to add this week.

What a rough year it's been with deaths. Woke up to this news. Even after reading a few weeks ago that he said he's ready for it, is still shocking and sad.
