(this post formerly known as the "20 reasons to hate George W. Bush" thread)

1. The national debt under Bush jr. has increased so drastically that the average American's estimated share of national debt will be an astronomical $24,000 compared to $500 when dubya first took office.

2. Under Bush Jr. there are now 43 million Americans with no health insurance.

3. Responsible for an unemployment rate of 6%. There are now 9 million people out of work in America---3.3 million more than when Bush took office.

4. He cut healthcare benefits for war veterans.

5. Bush Jr. deserted his unit during Vietnam and was reportedly awol for over a year from his assigned unit: The Texas air national guard, or as it's referred to by other military outfits, the "Champagne Division".

5. Despite a 13% unemployment rate among those aged 16-24, Bush Jr. proposed to eliminate youth opportunity grants---A program that provides job training to the nation's youth. A $225M program in 2002 is now being done away with so Bush can have more money for Iraq.

7. He cut funding for 375,000 low income college students and reduced pell grant amounts to such a severe degree that it effectively caused 84,000 students to no longer be eligible for pell grants. Pell amounts have been overall reduced for 1.5 million students...It's safe to say that the Bush daughters aren't eligible for financial aid, so this won't affect the opulent lives of anyone Bush Jr. may know.

8. Withdrew from the international criminal court.

9. First president in the US history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. elections)

10. All-time U.S. (and world) record holder for most corporate campaign donations.

11. The Bush administration had twice as many FBI agents fighting the drug war than fighting terrorism prior to 9/11. Even after 9/11; more than 2,000 FBI agents are waisting their valuable time assigned to the war on drugs.

12. His proposed "Free Trade" agreements would result in the loss of U.S. jobs to foreign markets and the exploitation of third world workers.

13. John Ashcroft.

14. He has taken 11 official axecutive actions to undermine reproductive rights... How long will it be before a woman is stripped of her right to choose?

15. Failed to fulfill pledge to get Osama Bin Laden "Dead or Alive".

16. Wasted federal resources on a PR trip to Baghdad where he staged a thanksgiving meal at 6 AM with troops that were screened based on their political affiliation. And the turkey? It was a prop.

17. His refusal to fire---or even reprimand---Lt. General Jerry "Our God is bigger than their God" Boykin. Perhapsit's because Boykin said of the president, "George Bush wan not elected by a majority of voters in the United States. He was appointed by God. He's in the White House because God put him there".

18. After sending troops off to die in an unjust and unprovoked war, he still has yet to attend any soldier's funerals.

19. His shameless nepotism for the rich and powerful. Elizabeth Cheney (daughter of Ol'Dick) got hooked up with a cool gig at the state department where she was in charge of the $129 million middle east partnership initiative and then was moved over to daddy and uncle Dubya's campaign payroll.

20. He dropped his dog on it's head.

19,812 posts	Thread number 79836525 about hating Bush.. and I believe you've posted in every one of them. We get it, you hate Bush. Alot of people do... big deal. Maybe we hate your leader too, are we bashing them. No. Yes, I know I'm being b*tchy but I'm getting tired of this. Thanks again for bashing our country once more..

2,083 posts	8 reasons why this didn't need to be posted -angry defensive people -you could end up getting banned -there are enough country bashing threads -we don't need anymore hatred on this stupid forum -if you hate him, good for you -there'll be an election this fall, if the public wants him out they'll vote him out -these words are being spent on deaf ears for the most part, b/c most of the Americans on this site can't even vote -you shouldn't hate anyone, ESPECIALLY if you don't know them

24,350 posts	yes, i do.... and those are all good reasons, tomorrow, make sure you throw in a reason about how when he was governor, he let men on death row fry even when some of them were innocent and he knew it and reported that later in a pres statement claiming it was 'a mistake due to lack of communication' whatever the fahk that means.....

19,812 posts	First of all Failed to fulfill pledge to get Osama Bin Laden "Dead or Alive". He's still trying, one of MY FRIENDS is over there doing it. So don't tell me he gave up. My friend isn't over there just so people can shoot at him, he's over there for a reason. Second of all, you're from Belgium. Instead of giving me 20 reasons you hate Bush, give me 20 reasons that these things affect your country. Because from the looks of it these reasons affect the U.S. not Belgium

19,812 posts	Well the other people, me being one of them, and a few of the people who have posted here don't seem to have a problem with it. Yes, he's a bad president but we're dealing with it. You don't have to, so just drop it will you? Let us fight our own battles, we're capable of doing so if we want to. I for one see no battle here.

24,350 posts	its true, what bush is doing is affecting every nation in this world, and if we think otherwise, then its true what they say about american arrogance.... i think bush is a retard, i don't complain often, and when i do, i get very angry when the people in this country still support him after everything that's happened.... if i could, i'd shoot him in the head, the only thing stopping me is i haven't gotten close enough yet.... so to whoever out there still supports this idiot, fck you, and to those of you who are my friends in this thread who are tired of hearing it, too bad, maybe you should hear it more often and open your ears and listen, cause it does affect you and it always will, and i like you and treasure our friendship, but this country is going striaght downhill, and if we don't get someone new in the white house come re-election, we'll certainly lose our hegomonic power, probably forfeited to china, and then we'll be completely fcked, and if you don't understand this reference, do a little research, things are bad, and only getting worse, and with 'duh-bya' in the big seat, it can only get worse.....
