36,123 posts	It's not really autobiographical. As I said, when I first started it, I actually meant to write a parody, but then I began thinking. The original song seemed to be about the result of much emotion and hard work put into a relationship,. whether it be intimate, family, or a comraderie, so to speak. But what ACTUALLY happens in the end? It rarely does end. The feelings of despair and hopelessness move on. They evolve into something new, whether it be acceptance, stubborn clinging, or anger. It seemed to me that the original song contained a hint of bitterness, so I morphed it into anger and dismissal. I was very pleased with how it turned out. Now excuse me, I have to go buy myself a beret and a striped shirt.

276 posts	Great job. Forgive the minor critique, but one problem I had is the words dont follow a rhythem as well as the original. It's by no means bad, but I think minor edits could've been made. Still, I couldn't do half as good, and great job!
