Hey, I'm doing a project for English and I need to play a song during my presentation that is about parent-child relationships (family, etc.) I've already got a good list, but if you guys could suggest any more, I'd really appreciate it

For You by Staind....that'll work if it doesn't have to be about a good parent/child relationship....

It's an old song, but it might work...Cat's in the Cradle by Jim Croce. It talks about his relationship with his father...

life of a salesman by yellowcard is a good father son one...... also if u want songs about growing up in a dysfunctional family, really anything on smile empty souls album will work.... ( i guess the lead singer had a really weird childhood and took this aggression on his parents out in music) but u can find references to it in i think all of the songs on there.....

I'll Be-Reba Macintire

CHORUS:
I'll be your shoulder
When you need someone to lean on
Be your shelter
When you need someone to see you through
I'll be there to carry you
I'll be there
I'll be the rock that will be strong for you
The one who will hold on to you
When you feel that rain coming down
When there's nobody else around
I'll be

Hope this helps.
