| I know what u mean. She was a gorgeous singer.
Her career was just starting. Its a tragedy how such lives are cut short like that. | 0 @ 01-12-2002 07:10 Ilovemarkmiser4 | 2,309 posts
| She was really too young to die. It was tragical. She was beautiful and had an amazing voice... | 0 @ 01-12-2002 20:24 Evilycia | 73 posts

| isnt it sweet how when Missy Elliot is in any video clip she wears things with Aaliyah on them? And in the Work It video clip, she's got a car with aaliyah and lisa loeb spraypainted on the front. | 0 @ 02-12-2002 10:17 Kiki | 34 posts
| yeah, and i think toya wore an top with a picture of aaliyah on it in one of her videos as well | 0 @ 02-12-2002 19:17 GoDiVa | 13 posts
| Yeah i loved Aaliyah, and i thought about this too. Its weird, how because they lost a StaR like Aaliyah, they're replacing her. Timbaland has Ms.Jade now, and Missy Elliot has Tweet. However, Tweet is a great person, I work with her and i see her on the set of "Honey" often and we do talk. She is a kind lady, and i dont think she is totally talented but she does have connections and she is Dedicated. If Aaliyah was back it would be no different. Yes, we enjoyed her music. But i do not think she got the proper recognition that she deserved. This death helps us to realize what "publicity" does. Other then the Kelly incident, Aaliyahs name was never in the "negative" Media areas and neither was she in the "positive" Media areas. Now, We have to do it for her, and contribute to entertainers who had talent like Aaliyah did...

| Well, I didn't cry, but, I do think it was a great loss the the music and film industry because that woman had so much talent, and she really had alot going for her... | 0 @ 05-08-2003 17:34 CheetahGirls | 50 posts
