19,082 posts | I've been considering putting up something like that in my bathroom. The light in there isn't very good, and it's so boring, needs cheering up. Thought of just getting an extra lamp, but couldn't find a good one that I could put up. |

19,488 posts | I go to the bathroom in the dark every night. My dad complains everything wakes him up, including light from other rooms, so I just don't bother. My phone light is enough.

19,082 posts | I'd say ceiling lamp in that case. Or floor lamp or wall lamp, depending on what it is. I might say light as well, but I've always known lamp to mean all of those. The one in my bathroom is on the wall, but high up.
That's too weird for me, I'd just get pissed at someone complaining about something they can't possibly notice. Unless he's some weird kind of psychic. But I supposed being pissed doesn't help the situation. |
