| ok im not the smartest when it comes down to computer "stuff"  but i need help converting a wma file it a WAV file. The program i have to convert mp3's to a WAV is dB powerAMP music converter and when i try to convert the wma file it says i need to download a codec.....so um what exactly is that? |

| All a codec does is make it so that ur programs can read a certain type of file... for instance, say you have a video that is in DivX format, the codec you need would have to recognize DivX files. | i know a program that u can download it but i cant remember its name that can convert any type of music file to another! |
