How many other folks on the forum play this game? Which of the expansion packs do you have for it?

And most importantly, are you tearing your hair out because the release date for the sequel's been put off again and again?

I have the game although i havent actaully played it single player for ages. I have the Blue Shift(?) and the soldier version add ons. (Can you tell i havent played them in ages?).

Mostly though i have been playing Day of Defeat and Counterstrike Mods for LAN parties.

I'm not tearing my hair out over the new one being delayed as hopefully they will make it better then it was gonna be if they kept to the original date.

agreed, the delay will only give Valve more time to tweak the game and make it better than it would have been if released last year as was originally planned.

Let's hope it's better... The biggest reason for it being delayed so long at the moment is because someone hacked the game company's computer system and stole a load of the program code

yeah the source code was stolen and released on the net, so they had to delay the game

Whoever did that deserves a slow and painful death

But, as has been said already, it's given them time to refine the game a little more

While I wait for Half-Life 2, I'm playing through the originals again. The game may be nearly 6 years old, but it's still a true classic

Going by the screenshots I've seen so far, CS on the HL2 engine is gonna be AMAZING

Plus the info I've seen says that HL2 is going to have a much longer storyline to it... More gameplay time!

The official word from Valve is that they have no set release date. Any dates you hear at the moment are just speculation by fans
