| I hope Carolina can pull off at least one win. Still looks like it's going to be a rematch of last years Stanley Cup Finals. Who comes out the victor this year? Probably the Wings... | 24-05-2009 22:08 LynnLynn15 |

| Carolina is going down faster than the ugly chick at a prom after party. Staal is being destroyed by his baby brother and they can't find an answer for either Crosby or Malkin. Ward isn't playing bad, but he cant do everything
Chicago really pised be off today that series had all the makings of an epic game seven of game rookies versus wily vets and they pissed away against a depleted detroit lineup. what a let down | 26-05-2009 04:04 Dekar |

| Looks like a repeat of last year's final, which I guess is good because it proves that some good teams can sustain themselves for more than one year in this salary cap era of hockey. Pens win it this year though. | 27-05-2009 16:59 IsThisMyFate |

| Go Pittsburgh.
I absolutely hate Detroit, although they're strong as poop.
The finals will be a good series. | 27-05-2009 18:12 LynnLynn15 |

| Detroit is one of those teams i hate on irrationally, i just hate that team, i guess is dislike the fact that 88% of all their goals should probably be goaltender interference
hopefully the hawks show up tonight and make Detroit earn their trip to the finals
i think pittsburgh might be a harder team to beat this time around, they have both superstars firing on all cylinders. As long as Gonchar is mobile they should be ok and take the cup for this young team | 28-05-2009 02:24 LynnLynn15 |

| Hopefully Datsyuk and Lidstrom aren't too banged up to go for game 1, else the Wings may be in deep against Crosby, Malkin and co playing like they are, unless Osgood stands on his head, but with Detroit playing against their first solid goalie in Fleury this year, I don't know if they can hack it without their top forward and d-man. | 28-05-2009 05:30 fishmunky |

| I hear Datsyuk's injury is more serious then they're letting on, like a serious knee problem or a broken foot, nothing that a couple of days rest is gonna fix
lidstrom i have no idea, they'll want him backk faster than datsyuk, chelios cant contain either crosby, malkin or staal | 28-05-2009 23:43 Captain_Keeta | 4,272 posts

| his knee is messed or his foot is broken depending on the sources, though i hear hes probably for game one, anything for the cup i suppose

| I'm sitting here watching Phil Kessel in his first game with the leafs and honestly, he's already my favourite player on the leafs. He's exciting, he's fast, and he probably has one of the quickest releases I've ever seen. I kind of feel sorry for him because a man with that much skill deserves to be on a better team, even though I'm a leaf fan.
If he was in the lineup for those overtime/shootout loses, I think toronto would've come out with the win, causing Toronto's record to be slightly better than it is now. He has had many chances tonight, even though he took a huge hit on one of his first shifts.
Bottom line, I like this kid. He's the reason I'm enjoying this game right now. | 04-11-2009 03:03 fishmunky |

| hes been fantastic, it'll be better when they bench stajan and put Bozak on as his center
book it its gonna happen | 04-11-2009 03:09 IsThisMyFate |

| lol I read an article, and the writter said bozak would be the best centre for Kessel in the Leafs organization. From the looks of it, both blake and stajan are giving Kessel the puck right when they get it. And when Kessel gets it, he pretty much always gets a good chance. Although he should have at least 2 goals by now.
Bozak didn't really do anything for me during the preseason. He had that one nice goal and that crazy laying on the ice penalty killing method, but other than that, i didn't see him do anything special. | 09-11-2009 22:34 IsThisMyFate |

| Leafs, 2 wins in a row. I'm loving it. It looks as if Gustavvson is going to be the starter from now on. That's a relief. All lines are scoring, things are looking up!
Oh, and Komisarek is hurt! So that'll keep them off the pk for a bit, hopefully. | 09-11-2009 22:47 fishmunky |

| komisarek has really turned his game around the last little while, i think his absence will be a hindrance rather than a blessing, the guy leads the team in blocked shots and hits and has been better about staying out of the box
gustavsson better have the starting goalie thing locked down, so much promise
bench stajan forever and life is good, next year will be even better provided burke does the right things | 09-11-2009 22:59 IsThisMyFate |

| Yeah, Komisarek has improved a lot since his first couple games, but still, I haven't been impressed with his or beauchemin's play this season at all. Kaberle has been Toronto's best player/defenseman so far. Ian White is right there too. I love Kessel already. He's exactly what Toronto needs.
Hopefully Toronto can get another W tomorrow night against Minnesota. |
