| Please tell me what you think. If there's anything I can change or make better, please tell me. 
That gleam in your eye,
I stare in awe, as time flies by
Choking on my salty tears,
Needing you to ease my fears
My head spins, confused,
Feeling my heart, torn and bruised
I want to stay ignorant, alone, and safe
Instead I linger, staring at your emotionless face
Away, safe in the shadows,
Watching you, you’ll never know
I wish you knew how I felt,
Staring at you, the one, I melt
These tears won’t dry,
I have no energy left to cry
I linger still, unnoticed, unseen,
Just for one glace, in your eye, a gleam
On its jagged edge, my heart tears,
The pain I hold in doesn’t even compare
You seem so perfect, so magnificent,
I shrink, desperately needing contentment
You glace my way for a moment,
Feeling my heart fill in the dent,
Expecting the worst,
I sense my heart’s about to burst
You silently shift away from me,
With all these tears, I no longer see
I lie down, miserable and stare at the floor,
As I watch you walk away, out the door
