| "Have you ever made a complete fool of yourself in front of alot of people?"
Okay... another day, another poll. I made a complete fool out of myself a few years back. I still remember it as if it was yesterday.
During the days when I was at university, I was out shopping on particular afternoon on a rest day with a group of my mates.
Whilst walking around I, along with my mates, were appreciating God's handywork in making beautiful women and man's intuition in making short skirts... pair up the two and it's a potential recipe for disaster....
.... needless to say, whilst appreciating how these two things fused together I totally missed the fact that there was a window to a particular shop front!
Yep... I walked straight into it! My defence? ... it was a clean window.
I had never, and never since, been so embarrased in my life. I just laughed it off, rub my nose a few times, and carried on walking... to the huge amusement of my friends. |

| lol ... why is the opposite sex so guilty in making us embarass ourselves?
This happened about a year ago, with my friend Jess who cannot walk in high heels (it seems insignificant now, but wait, it will all 'fall' into place).
We were at the Mall, and there was a group of good looking guys glancing over at us. Jess grabs my arm and starts tottering past them on a ridiculously high pair of heels. Needless to say, this girl has the balance of a 1 year old and falls flat on her butt. Not just that, but guess who's arm she was holding onto and bought down with her? Yeah ...
The guys thought it was funny ... they were laughing until they were blue in the face ... lol ... now I can laugh at it ... then I didn't speak to her for a week ... lol | 0 @ 28-01-2004 02:12 Chrissi11 | 399 posts
| In my neighborhood theres a pond and a tree thats in it that everyone sits on it. Well me and my friend decided to go sit on it and i was the farthest away from the ground so i was like Colleen (my friend) lets go back now cuz these two hot guys wanted to get on too. So she was gettin off and i was standin up and i was losin my balance when i was walkin off so i decided to sit down again. And my friend colleen was like pullin me to stay up when really she was pushin me in the pond. And i was holdin on a twig for me to stay up. I was screamin at her to let go when the twig snapped and i fell head first into the digusting water. it was so embarassing. And to try to cover up what i did i was like wow u can really catch the fish a lot faster when u are right next to them. Lets just say thank god i dont see those guys anymore!!!

| Oooo...I'd done my fair share. I'll start with a few simple ones:
I once ran into a pole and said to my friends after I had finished rubbing my head, "Man, I totally smoked that pole." Enter dead silience. Then one of them says, "Dude, you are so gay." Enter 5 minutes of pure laughter and me with a blank stare.
A girl I had a crush on was walking past me in the hall. I asked how she was doing and she said, "I don't feel well." I replied, "Yea you do look like crap." Needless to say I never did ask her out. But I did apoligize!
Just recently, not in front of a lot of people, I was talking to Ann(my gf), and was watching TV and looking at a pic of Liz's cousin. I then said, "D*mn, those blondes are sooo good looking and tan and have fantastic eyes and...ah...s***...you're my girlfriend." *click* I'm way too used to talking to girls about anything. Oops!
And my best one ever. *drum roll* It was a recital in kindergarten. Just one of those stupid singing things where all the parents show up. We were all lined up with the short ones in front. I don't remember this but I suppose...I ended up scratching my nuts and rearranging myself in front of all the adults. ^^ My dad still has it on film. | Yeah, I have. Many times. I'm really clumsy and always slipping or falling over. So I always fall over, and just my luck it's front of a hge crowd. hehe | 0 @ 30-01-2004 04:28 Jekka | 33 posts
| I do it on a weekly basis, lol. Mostly its I'm jabbering on about something only to realize I've mixed up two ideas and come out sounding like a complete idiot. Or else I can be in deep thought, only slightly listening to conversation around me and when an idea is brought up I get excited and say "hey we can do this..." and my friends start laughing at me because that was mentioned 2 mins ago... One thing I am good at is blurting out the right answers at the right times but as you can see..I don't do it so well with thoughts. |
