The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak is brilliant. For something funny David Sedaris writes hilarious short stories. My favourite book of his is Dress Your Family in Corduroy & Denim. Naked is also up there. Quick fun reads for me are Carl Hiaasen novels. Stormy Weather is probably my favorite Hiaasen novel.

Seems they should also make a Lets-Read-it community

Check out-
1. the "Booker Prize" winners over the years.
2. the "New York Times: Best-Seller Lists"

Let me know which books you selected to read

Ohh, I know!
Read The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky!
It's a really good book, where the main character will be you new friend. (That sounded weird... hmm..) But really, this book is one of the best. He looks at everyday events in a very interesting point of view. Recommended!

Water for Elephants is also one of my favourites. Perks of Being a Wallflower is good also but it depends on how old you are I think for that one. I tried to re-read it a few years ago & I just couldn't get into it. It definitely helps to be a teenager for that one.

It depends on what you like to read aff course.
But meybe a tip: Make a profile on Goodreads.com and put there the books you've read and you can rate them. Then they will search what book you might like. I already found very interesting books there.
