wandering between these twisted trees
on the straight and narrow path
the sun keeps its eye on me making sure i dont loose sight of what is to come a head
while the wind cradles me in its mighty arms
the wind is secret and sacred
it is mine, the quiet voice i whisper to softly when the sun says its goodnights
here is when im free and out of sight from the prying eyes
here i can be alone with just the wind wisping around the corners of my cheek
bringing a faint sent of days long dead that for forever will linger on the tip of my heart
it is to the wind who all my secrets are shared for who will the wind tell...when its words only i can hear.
it tells me of its travels and what sights it has seen it tells me of the things im missing on this path of mine the night goes by to quickly and the sun begins its dawn, and i continue a long my path
while the wind dances away
