12,214 posts	lol thanks to both of you for your generous astonishments lol. but I'm really not nearly as pretty as people here claim me to be. and there are much much more attractive girls than me over here, and people know my personality first, and get kinda rejected by my thinking-too-much-analizing-too-much-just-plain-being-too-much self, so... I wish I had the courage to kiss someone on my own, but I never yet met a person whom I'd like to kiss, and the few I mught have... well, I just can't. * offtopic : Hi, Petra!!! lol I thought we were over this fruity thing by now..

817 posts	sure, i've been kissed and have done some kissing. i love kissing! to address the original post, i'm not sure you can know if someone is 'the one' without kissing them. i know i might get flack for saying that but it's been my experience. of course there are many other factors that weight into 'the one' decision...regardless, it's a romantic thought that you hold out your first kiss for 'the one'.

12,214 posts	lol nah we do it here too, also guys and girls.. when comes to think about it.. I WAS kissed on the cheek once by a guy... some weeks ago this guy instructor who works with me met me cuz he wanted me to bring him some stuff regarding our instructions. it was on the weekend, and we were both on our "civil cloths" meaning we didn't wear our army uniforms. he told me it's nice to see me wear something else but uniforms, and gave me a friandly peck on the cheek. though... technically it's not even a real peck on the cheek, it's like, he just kissed in the air but our cheeks brushed against one another.

3,483 posts	Ally -- No, its not just the English. Here in Australia we do it too. Everytime you bump into a friend, a polite greeting is a quick hug and a small kiss on the cheek.
