| drop d: tune your 6th string down(lower the pitch) until it sounds like the 4th string, or the fifth fret on the A string(fifth string)
eb: Tune your sixth string down until it matches the pitch of the sixth fret on your fifth sting...using the sixth sting as the base(as its pitch is now eb) tune the rest of your guitar as if tuning normally...they will drop half a step,
drop c: by this i assume you mean CGCFAD
to do this: use drop D tuning, tune the rest of your guitar to the D(just like the eb thing)...after your guitar has been detuned a fll step...drop d again...(it will sound like the pitch of c) | | 0 @ 10-01-2004 05:52 gumby | 5,051 posts

Don't you just love how literaly every song you try to figure out is in drop d and you spend ages trying to get it... but you just cant. Then, hours (or days) later you find out it was in drop d and that was why you couldn't get the song. |
