You can sign up and submit yer own tabs an' all. The first two are way cool sites. I dunno about the other two. I ain't into that kinda music. But I'm sure they're just as good. | 14-03-2004 16:06 hurleysk8r05 | 7,842 posts

| when i first started playing guitar i started to on those sites (mxtabs, ultimateguitar, mysongbook etc.) i thought they were great sites. but now im more experienced and i dont go on those site anymore. IMO www.powertabs.net is the best GUITAR SITE EVER! and now i think the rest of the sites i used to go to suck... www.powertabs.net has millions of tabs compared to other sites, but you will have to download a program called powertab editor 1.7. it plays the tabs you download. it only plays powertab files (.ptb) | 08-11-2004 01:55 youngandhopeles | 100 posts
| www.mxtabs.net is good guitar, bass & drums site for the common stuff.
www.punkhardcore.com seems to be a pretty good site for punk music although it has been down for the past little while. | 02-03-2005 10:48 4for1guitar | 8 posts
| I use a program called powertab editor. It kinda works the same as guitar pro, but I finf it better to overview, and it's free. There are thousands of tabs for powertab editor.
Check:

| and I use www.mxtabs.net a lot | 06-03-2005 00:29 hiimjosh | 27 posts
| I use mxtabs.net, 911tabs.com, mysongbook.com, and metaltabs.com | 06-03-2005 00:31 hiimjosh | 27 posts
| You need to be careful with the big tab places though like mxtab.net and ultimate-guitar.com since there are still a ton of bad tabs that people don't seem to notice (example "Desecrate Through Reverance" by Avenged Sevenfold is way off on the Intro, but it still has 5 stars...?) | 09-09-2005 23:09 xMajinx | 13,401 posts
