Hey everybody, I'm looking for this song that goes "bag it up and do it again", followed by (can't remember well) "I want/need a Japanese". I heard it on the radio twice, I searched on LSI and I can't find it. This is a girl singing and it's not "Bag It Up" by Geri Halliwell, the former Spice. There's a small part where the girl repeats "I wanna, I wanna" & the rhythm is the same as Kelis' "Trick Me". Please would you help me find it ?

Oh junkie_backsteen, I... Answered too quickly. That means lost confidence. My description was right but your answer looks disappointing. Sorry not for having answered for a long time.

Now I must admit you're wrong. The answer you've given me is one of the biggest lies I've read. I regret saying that phrase "that is the song I was looking for". Your answer doesn't convince me anymore! I don't believe your proposition, so how do I cancel it?

Why is the title Back It Up and not Bag It Up? (The title sounds like "Bag It Up" in my ears, so the singer isn't from an English-speaking country.)
Why do you say the singer is a poor Dutchwoman and not the Japanese artist the song was originally intented to?
"I need a Japanese", not "bad du da dam da day".
Caro(line) Emerald is her real name.
This song couldn't have come out in 2010 in France. Between 2003 and 2010, maybe, because it really sounds like Kelis' Trick Me (the rhythm, yes).
Trick me once
I won't let you trick me twice, no!

So marking this thread as "solved" would be an offense!
And I'm not that ironic!

Yes, apparently that isn't the right one.

But I've listened to Caro Emerald's Back It Up... So junkie_backsteen was right in the end? But I hear "Bag It Up" everytime, not "Back It Up"! I keep on calling this song "Bag It Up", although it's not Geri's eponymous song.

I'm not sure this person is going to answer Celine.

So...it is the right song?

It is strange when we hear something clearly and it turns out not to be the correct lyric.

That Caro Emerald wasn't the singer I was looking for, but "Bag It Up" was the right song, yes!

I'm still so confused.

It should have been performed by a Japanese singer, but what I dislike is that a Dutch singer finally performed it. It seems like Caro Emerald (some poor Dutchwoman with a pseudonym) has some mispronunciation, that's why I hear "Bag It Up" instead of "Back It Up". Haven't you understood it yet?

Leave me crying in my bedroom. That "solved" mention shouldn't be marked at all. It stains the thread, sincerely.

There isn't a "[Solved]" there.

OK. Let's all leave this thread.
Caro Emerald, Back It Up.
Let's say I haven't found any other song than this one.

So this thread was bumped only to inform us that this was in fact, the correct song all along. Makes sense to me!

I hear the singer say 'back it up' just fine.

Celine, since the song is correct but the artist is not, have you tried going on youtube to search for covers of the song to see if one of them is the performance you are looking for?

Jen : the singer's voice must be Caro Emerald, don't think it would be a cover of Back It Up.

Because the answer isn't anything else than the answer junkie_backsteen gave me. Now I'm tired. Let's leave this thread before it turns more ridiculous.

So it's solved?

It has been solved too early, I guess. I tried and I tried to find another song, but it's still Caro Emerald, "Back It Up". I answered "this is the right song, thanks" too early. But the fact that a Dutchwoman with some mispronunciation performed "Bag It Up" hasn't convinced me yet, I think "Bag It Up" sounds more appropriate than "Back It Up".

No, I haven't calmed down yet.
