Moderator: 1.One that moderates, as: a.One that arbitrates or mediates. b.One who presides over a meeting, forum, or debate. 2.The officer who presides over a synod or general assembly of the Presbyterian Church. Interesting: the 4th definition mentions the Church Certainly that deals with GOoDness,righteousness,and non-partiality. Please,STOP PROMOTING SIN AND OBAMANATION ON THIS SITE

437 posts	FYI That definition comes from our most respected "Wester's" from Noah Webster another Christian Religious views Webster was a devout Christian. His speller was grounded in Scripture, and his first lesson began "Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink ; nor for your body, what ye shall put on ; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of these things." His 1828 American Dictionary contained the greatest number of Biblical definitions given in any reference volume. Webster considered education "useless without the Bible". Webster claimed to have learned 20 different languages in finding definitions for which a particular word is used. From the preface to the 1828 edition of Webster's American Dictionary of the English Language: In my view, the Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed... . No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people. Webster released his own edition of the Bible in 1833, called the Common Version. He used the King James Version (KJV) as a base and consulted the Hebrew and Greek along with various other versions and commentaries. Webster molded the KJV to correct grammar, replaced words that were no longer used, and did away with words and phrases that could be seen as offensive. All editions of Webster's Dictionary published in 1913 and earlier, along with the Webster Bible and Dissertation on the English Language are available in the public domain.

I'm canadian i don't understand what this Obamanation nonsense is all about, but whatever, thats your deal not mine 2. moderator here is defined as being the person that watches over the forums and enforces the rules, turns out Webster's much like the church has yet to catch up to the modern age, and since I'm not a Presbyterian i could care less what a Moderator does in that faith 3. i believe in god, all knowing and just. its the members of his fan club that think they possess those same qualities that i take issue with 4. you dont get to hire on this site as you dont run it, hire your own mods on your own site then we can both be happy 5. when you call someone a freakazoid what exactly are you trying to convey? the message of God's over powering love or are you attempting to separate, ostracize and shame that person. You are not loving and are a poor example of how Christians should behave. I for one don't believe you are one. I think you are a Christian/Religion hater in disguise who goes around spouting all of this religious garbage annoying the crap out of people, getting them to hate what you claim to represent, and this offends me. I think everyone here knows I am a Christian (or they do now) and yet I don't go around treating people unequally just because we disagree. I really wish you would knock it off and stop giving the God I believe in such a bad reputation.

9,909 posts	For once i agree with him, that shouldn't have been carded. He called someone a freak, which is basically someone who is of a very slim minority. As it turns out, Christians are a minority around here. Furthermore, most of us who believe in Jeebus here are decent people. Therefore he is a minority within a minority. He obviously couldn't have been calling anyone a freak as he himself fits the definition.
