1,092 posts	I(the former boxer) "have squandered my existence for a pocketful of mumbles,such are promises" In that classic sport song The Boxer everywhere I seem to look the bold word in that phrase is written as "resistance".WHAT? The correct word is EXISTENCE. DON'T AGREE? Ok,help me out then.IF it was "resistance",please explain the meaning in this particular usage?

22,063 posts	its li, la, li first of all second of all folks, hes talking about the boxer by simon and garfunkel and it's resistance, i've watched 4 live versions of this song on the internet and its Resistance what can resistance mean in this case, I'm unsure to be honest, perhaps his ability to resist temptation i assume, as he squandered them for mumbles and promises
