I can't figure out what this song I've had stuck in my head is and I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me figure out what it is. I'm afraid I can't be too helpful without singing it. I think it's from the 90s, and I think it's popular enough that most people would know it. It's hip hop, kind of, and the voice is distorted, kind of like it's coming through a phone (not a crystal clear one like today's would sound...) And I'm pretty sure its a guy singing it.

I'm tryign to remember any lyrics but any I do, don't come up in search engines so I"m guessing I'm wrong, but what I AM thinking, is that in the chorus it's like, "I don't wanna be a 'killer'..(music for a few counts) I just wanna be aaaa 'something'"

I know that's a pretty bad description, but that's all I can give right now to go by, and that's why i need some help finding it. Thanks if you can help!
