| Right, ok.
I want to stab the guy who lives above me. Repeatedly. I honestly think he's socially retarded. He thinks playing loud music at 2 am is a good idea. He also thinks leaving his car running for half an hour outside my window is a good idea. Either he's not completely right in the head, or he just hates me. Either way I wanna stab him. | 08-11-2009 01:21 Sjakalen4 |

| Erm, well, last night for no reason she just started throwing up. And then it never really stopped. For hours it was like every 10-15 minutes, then during the day it slowed down and she just puked every time she woke up/moved...she's done it like 25-30 times in total and it must've been so horrible. She also had a lot of pain and cramping.
She still feels disgusting but she hasn't thrown up in 5-6 hours. Just laying down now so her stomach doesn't get more upset and she can try to keep down liquids.
My poor baby. Must've been so upsetting and painful. | 08-11-2009 01:26 Maycen |

| Ouch. Poor Joey! That sounds awful. Does she know why? Food poisoning or something? Cause if she's been throwing up that often, it doesn't really sound like the normal kind of stomach bug. | 08-11-2009 01:31 Sjakalen4 |

| Yeah, I thought that. I've never heard of someone getting a stomach bug that bad before. I thought maybe it was the fish she had eaten earlier that day or something, until it got that bad. But then a woman in one of my classes was saying that she actually gets it that bad when she gets a stomach bug. A few times she's even had to go to the hospital because of dehydration, but hopefully Joey will be better by tomorrow.
Yeah, I'll admit that I was so worried that I stayed up a lot of the night and cried. Then when I was sleeping I kept having dreams that she was sending me text messages, telling me that she was in the hospital and they gave her a drug, or that she was better, or something. Then woke up and realized she was still being sick over and over.
How have you been, Maiken? I was thinking about you earlier today because the year is ending, getting close to February, you're going to be 25. Kind of creepy. | 08-11-2009 01:41 Maycen |

| Yeah, if the vomiting has stopped, she probably will be. Ugh, I feel so sorry for her. It's horrible just throwing up a few times, but like 30 times? Can't even imagine how exhausting that must be.
Uh, I've been ok. Up and down, haha. Pretty good now though. And I'm NOT turning 25, I'm turning 20. I think you have me confused with someone else.
How are you? =) | 08-11-2009 01:46 Sjakalen4 |

| Argh, crap. Wrote out this post and then I was apparently logged out.
So, I've surpassed you in age now, have I? *beats you up* Yeah, I can do that 'cause I'm bigger.
Yeah...I dunno, if she gets sick again I'll feel terrible for her. She was just drained tonight. Tried to get up to talk to me but she can't move without feeling totally disgusting. Think she's gonna take in an early night.
I've been okay. I've been really happy because so many people have been really lovely about my transition. I'm genuinely surprised by the amount of support I have. It's been frustrating though because it's like living in two worlds. Right now, I've got a supportive group that treats me like a man. And a confused group that treats me like a woman. And...yeah, it's really confusing. I wish I could pass BEFORE taking testosterone, cause then most people will see me as a man. While I feel confident and excited for hormones, being able to live as a man before would be like...well, it would be the proof that people need that I'm ready to make physical changes. I'm seriously ready to attempt fake facial hair but that might create some issues at work.

| It's natural that some people are a bit confused still, I guess. But luckily you also have people who will support you through thick and thin. But how do they treat you like a woman? Do they still call you Kate? When my friend was thinking about this, I pretty much just acted like I always had. Dunno if that was good or bad, but she'd never been the girly type, so I guess I never treated her like that either. | 08-11-2009 01:55 Sjakalen4 |

| Yeah, there's the name issue. I told the people I work with that I'm trans, and they've not said anything bad, but...they won't put me as Caleb/Cal on the schedule, because they have to use my legal name. I work on the university campus, so. It goes like this. All day at work I have to say "this is Katherine", write "Katherine" on my deposit sheets and hear people call me Katherine. Customers say things like "thank you young lady."
Then I get to class after. I hear "Caleb", I write Caleb on my schoolwork. People refer to me as "he" and use masculine terms for me.
Sometimes in a conversation with a group, one will call me 'he' and then others will call me 'she.' So sometimes I'm treated like a he and a she not only in the same day but in the same place. | 08-11-2009 01:57 Sjakalen4 |

| Oh, and I wish I could take a pic of my hair for everyone. It looks awesome. I dyed it black a while ago, and now the roots are growing in, but the way they grow it doesn't look like roots. Looks like black/light brown highlights. | 08-11-2009 02:03 Maycen |

| Ah, that does sound confusing. But can't you have your name changed? My friend did that, even though she hadn't started any kind of hormones yet. don't know what kind of rules you guys have over there, maybe it's not a possibility?
And why can't you take a pic? No camera?
And I'm seriously gonna STRANGLE the guy upstairs. I wish they sold common sense on cans. I'd buy him a few. | 08-11-2009 02:07 Sjakalen4 |

| Yeah, only way I can do it is if Joey takes a pic for me with webcam and she just texted me saying she's off to bed.
Well, I can have my name changed but my family is kind of in denial. Right now I'm seeing a psychologist (it's ok, he's trans-friendly, it's just required for the hormones) and my parents are coming to the next session. I hope that they will see that I am serious. They're expecting him to say that I'm just sad and think I've felt like a man my whole life.
Actually, as I came out I began seeing 'signs' from my past. Like all the times I tried to look, act, sound male. There were so many times throughout my life, but I always ignored it. I just assumed it was something else or that it was normal, haha.
Are you gonna be online much longer? I wanna ask you a bit about your friend and what she went through before changing her mind, and that's probably best done over MSN/PM. | 08-11-2009 02:19 Maycen |

| Parents, yeah, should've known. Probably hard for them to accept, but if they're coming to the next session, at least they're not completely in denial?
There's lots I could tell you about my friend. I've known her for 12 years now, and known about pretty much everything she's gone through. BUT it'll have to be some other time. I have to be up at 9, and I really need some sleep before that. It's father's day tomorrow, so I'm gonna go over there and make breakfast. And the dude upstairs finally seems to head to bed, so maybe I'll have a chance at sleeping now. Sorry. But we should talk. Send me a PM, ask away, and I'll answer tomorrow. =)
Goodnight! Hope Joey's feeling better tomorrow. | 08-11-2009 02:27 Sjakalen4 |
