my wish, you never granted,
why don’t you give me a chance?
A chance to prove that I…
I will love you, I will hold you,
I will protect you and I will kiss you.
I wished to be yours,
I wished for no other,
but that was not granted, now I…
I hate myself, I punish myself,
I scream at myself, I spit at my reflection.
Baby all I wanted was to hold you in my arms…
my wish, never to even be considered,
why is it that I don’t stand a chance?
What is it that I cannot see in myself,
that drives you to reject my dreams.

The demon inside is awakening,
annihilating the sense of right and wrong,
I feel its presence crawl inside me,
An relentless rush of emotions.
Such overwhelming fear,
such dominating anxiety,
such unforgivable hate,
when will this ever cease?
I am a good person,
I know… but why cant I control this,
the demon is emerging,
don’t say another word.
I would never raise a fist to you,
I know… but why can’t I control this.
Please understand I don’t mean to loose it,
I slip away, falling further, from the real me.
Such overwhelming fear,
such dominating anxiety,
such unforgivable hate,
When will this ever cease?

One lone leaf
falling from above,
just as I do,
Baby, I’m falling for you…
Just step on by if you wish,
like all the others that shy away in disbelief.
If only you would take this moment to see,
look up, out of your clouded mind,
let me know you care…
One lone leaf, it is… I am… falling for you.
Watch the spiralling descent,
as it progresses toward you, down to your heart.
Open your hands, open your soul,
let me in so we can share this feeling.
One lone leaf, it is… I am… falling for you.
Drop it and leave if you do not believe,
for that is your choice, I will have to endure…
But, if only you would take that chance
to see, it needs you… I need you…
One lone leaf, baby don’t let it fall too far…
Ignorance will leave it,
exposed and vulnerable,
to those who wish to trample across the path,
showing no mercy, only haste and selfishness…
Only to leave that leaf… my heart… shattered…
Baby don’t you see?
Open your soul, take the chance,
cherish and embrace me…
Baby I am that leaf, it is you who I’m falling for…
I think I deserve a chance…
