| tell me about your christmas 
it's not to long to x-mas now!..
how do you celebrate x-mas and when? I mean..do you open your presents in the evening or morning... etc ?  |

| why do you guys really open the presents on the 25th?..
It's so cosy to open at the evening.. here's my christmas:
All day on 24th before dinner: SNOWBOARD with friends..hang out..
20.00: Dinner
22.00: TV

| We do midnight Mass so we sleep in on Christmas day and when my folks do get up they usually watch the Denver game (the Broncos inevitably play on Christmas it seems) then come dinner time (which I am in charge of this year) we set out a huge spread with some dead serious decorations. Then around dessert time anyone who has gifts for anyone whips 'em out.

| well it last year we did something different and we probably will keep doing it that way buuuuut before

| Okay 24th we go to my dad's side of the family's house, any of my aunts/uncles. We open the presents from them there, and then sometimes we go to Mass. We go home, open a few presents, then go to sleep. | In my family we used to have dinner on Christmas eve, and then we congrat each other at 12 o'clock and then open our presents, talk a while and then go to sleep, and the 25th we have a big family lunch...
But this year I'll have a different christmas because it's the first one my boyfriend and I are living together, so we are having something small and personal in our house for the eve, just our daughter and the 2 of us... probably a little meal and then we will open presents the next morning with the baby, and the 25 we are going to the family lunch, I'm looking forward to Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!! | | 0 @ 22-11-2003 22:27 ice_white_tiger |

| my family x-mas is pretty traditional. im not permitted (for violating this rule is penalty of death or public flogging or something) to open my presents before x-mas morning. my mom hides them.....god knows where( i gave up looking for that hiding spot when i was 8) and carefully arranges them under the tree sometime during the night....i guess she likes to play santa or something. | Christmas eve we usily have a nic big dinner and go to church.
Chrstmas moring we get up when my parents put the christmas music on (this started when i was relly little so id didnt wake my parents up too early- well i stll am alsways the fist up and just lay in my bed wating for the music-) We then open presents and then eat a nice brekfast. We then sloly get redy to go to my ants house. | ok, 24 we hang out w/cousins and sometimes w/grandparents too.......but not usually, and us four kids play while our moms talk, and our dads do some random sport(but my dads not good at them) and then we have dinner, then we open presents to and from cousins, and any other family thats not direct...... then we either play a bit more and eat desert or just go straight to desert. then day 1 is OVER!
ok, 25, me and my bro are awake usually around 7, and its so annoying cuz we gotta wait for our parents to wake up. so, at 8 we wake them up(w/permission) and then we go out to the living room. my parents take from 10 mins to 30 mins to get the camera, camcorder, and anything else, then they tape us when we open presents.....and its really funny when we're not suprised......ya.....thats about it |
