| I never really wanted to post in here, cause one time I told a friend this short poem thing, and she copied it and doesn't give me credit, nor denies credit to herself. Anyway, I just don't want this copied, unless I'm credited. But I know you guys wouldn't do that. Anyway, I (sadly) haven't written in a while, but I like feedback, so tell me what you think, and be honest, cause I can take it. And I never really wrote rhyming poems, but this one just...rhymed.
Behind the lies
Behind this smiling face
Somehow you became the love
In which I cannot erase
Inevitably as it is
Inevitably as it seems
You bring tears to my eyes by day
And smiles to my face in dreams
If only for one moment
If only for one day
I hope you realized the truth
Before I pushed you away
Inside I’m crying
Inside I’ll never let you go
Outside I fear the reality
In which I never want to know
Hidden is where I keep my thoughts
Hidden is where you belong to me
I hope and pray that someday
I am the one you will truly see
Not the girl you once knew
Not the girl next door
For behind my imaginary wall
Love pervades evermore
