If I buy the cd, then always.
If I get it at the library I don't always have the time to bother.

i thouught the only written things were the lyrics

well... if it's an independent band i might. if it's signed to a major label, then i don't even bother - being in the marketing industry, i know that nearly all those messages aren't personally written by the artist. most of the time they just say who they want to thank, and some intern at the public relations agency writes the rest.

If I buy the CD in the first place it's bound to be for an artist I'm a big fan of - so I probably would end up scouring through the entire booklet, yes.

Sometimes, if I really like the artist or if I'm bored.

I found it funny when once I bought 3 CDs at the same time, and the same band appeared in the thanks of all 3. But that band was the reason I found the other 3, so they should be thanked
