Please, people, lets not forget what the great HappyLion said when he first opened this thread back in '22...

Tired of "favorite..."s and "hate..."s?
Tired of religious wars?
Tired of disputes over words like "gay"?
Feeling random...?

Or are you just one of those people who don't make any sense anyway...?

No, it would be a word of apology .. or at least of an explanation .. or at least some sign so that I am not forced to realise how cold-hearted some people can be.

Wow Biron shutout the Caps. Didn't see that one coming.
Game 3 of the most boring series ever later on tonight.
Habs just might sweep the Bruins. I think the Bruins will win one of their 2 home games.

Pop-Tarts ftw!

I hate being in the middle. But I think I know which side I'm really on.

This makes me so sad, and mad
I know it happens all the time, but I still react the same way

Oh they found her now? Been watching it on tv. Can't even begin to understand what her parents must be going through. The world scares me, it really does.

Yeah, it's her parents I think about, more than her. To have your kid just disappear and then turn up dead, just like that. Just on her way home. It's scary, it really is

If I had kids I wouldn't be letting them out of my sight for a long time after hearing about this

I wouldn't either. What monster does something like this? I honestly think it's a shame the death penalty was abolished when I read about stuff like this. (Yes yes, I know, it's not that easy, but this makes me so angry.)

I wouldn't go to the death penalty on this ( I never do). Just make damn sure that guy never gets the chance to do it again

But that's the thing, how many times have you seen pedophiles set free cause they're "cured"? A few years of therapy, and they're fixed? I just keep thinking "if someone did this to a person I love, I sure as hell wouldn't want them alive".

I know I'm alot older, but I really piss and moan when my mum gets worried about me walking home or going somewhere. It's stories like that that remind me why she gets so worried. You never think it's gonna happen to your family or your kids, but you never know...

... In all fairness, at least the killer confessed and showed them where the body was. God forbid that anything like that happens to my family or someone I know, but I'd rather the child was found dead than never at all.

"if someone did this to a person I love, I sure as hell wouldn't want them alive".

I would probably think that too if it was me. But I'm still not sure about the death penalty. And what if it happens to people who are innocent? Probably not common, but I'm sure it could happen

And people seem to get released from prison to easily. Let them rot there if their crime is bad enough. With high enough security so they really can't escape

I really just want to sit down and read the rest of the day, but strangely, I feel a little sleepy. I am afraid I might accidentally take a nap if try and read now. Maybe after some tea.

It's the 14th now so *puts on "pirate" music for Bruna to dance to* You should have tea and chocolate . Try to focus on other things, she doesn't deserve the time in your mind. How did the surf trip go?

This case is horrible, of course, but it's things like that which make me really want to study the criminology side of psychology. I find it almost fascinating; I wish I could get into these peoples' minds. I did actually think about taking Criminology at university but Clinical Psychology still comes first in my books. I can always apply it to other areas; I have thought about prison studies and talking to prisoners in the past. It'd be very interesting. Hmm.

Food food. Bowl of cereal.
