Tired of "favorite..."s and "hate..."s?
Tired of religious wars?
Tired of disputes over words like "gay"?

Not too sure I'd enjoy octopus though but you never know, send me some from tonight through the post and I'll heat it up in the microwave and give it a try. | 0 @ 10-05-2008 22:30 indiechick_ | 9,319 posts

| Some people from the midwest came into the bank today and through a fit over the fact that some of the deposit slips were in spanish. "Don't you have any English ones, I mean this is America!" Ugh, they make me so angry. how can people be so ridiculous? No wonder everyone thinks we're ignorant and a bunch of jerks.
It's not like they read them anyway. And since America doesn't have an "official" language really, their complaints are really silly. I should have answered them in spanish. | 0 @ 10-05-2008 22:57 PunkRckr8 | 9,829 posts
| Arizona is one of 28 states that has English as the official language | 0 @ 10-05-2008 23:20 Joeyy | 4,046 posts
| No Jen, you should have answered in English but said "Me no speaky English" then ignored them. | 0 @ 10-05-2008 23:21 Joeyy | 4,046 posts
| And thanks for the octopus Bruna, much better than the returned stickers. | 0 @ 10-05-2008 23:24 zjenn4 | 10,022 posts
| oh whatever Arizona is like 41% hispanic/spanish speaking. people need to get over it.
Joey you are funny. That would have been an interesting response.
I guess I am just so internationally oriented, that my mind won't comprehend the fact that there are people like that in the world that just will have nothing of it. They just vexed m because they were making a big deal out of nothing really.
EEE! Stupid MSN work now!
I want ice cream now! | 0 @ 10-05-2008 23:30 indiechick_ | 9,319 posts

| Alright, time to go! And nobody mess with Bruna, she has the shotgun! Back in a bit- | 0 @ 10-05-2008 23:54 Joeyy | 4,046 posts
| I feel the need to ask. What exactly is "shotgun" and where does it come from? Ice cream would be good, I want some too, I don't think I've felt cold for over three days (which must be a record for me). | 0 @ 10-05-2008 23:58 indiechick_ | 9,319 posts
| whoever calls shotgun first gets to sit in the front whenever you're going somewhere by car. don't know where it comes from, just know that those are the rules and it shant be broken. | 0 @ 11-05-2008 00:03 PunkRckr8 | 9,829 posts
| technically you have to be in sight of the car in order to call shotgun | 0 @ 11-05-2008 00:07 indiechick_ | 9,319 posts
| yes, i was going to add that. but we always go grocery shopping with jen and never see the car. so we just assume that anytime someone says they're going out, that's as good as seeing the car. | 0 @ 11-05-2008 00:11 sucki_sucki | 108 posts

I bought this weird A&W rootbeer thing where they mixed in an icre cream flavor, it is not very good. | 0 @ 11-05-2008 00:51 indiechick_ | 9,319 posts
| i'm not much of a rootbeer person myself. which movies did you rent? | 0 @ 11-05-2008 00:57 zjenn4 | 10,022 posts
| They were on sale, so I bough: Next, Just Like Heaven, and Michael Clayton. i was tempted to also rent Rendition, or Once, but I thought that 3 would be a good start. | 0 @ 11-05-2008 01:01 zjenn4 | 10,022 posts
| The Italian and the one with Eric Bana and Franka Potente also looked good, but they'll have to wait until next time. |
