| No I didn't write this for you,  but I'm posting it because you're banging your head against the wall in the Song Corner.  I'll humiliate myself too!  This poem is about a year old. 
Where am I again
I'm back where I stand
I ran away again
But I'm back in your hand
Led back by the air
The breeze along the sea
Led back by the memories and
Thoughts of what could be
You've thrown me away
Into the clear and starry night
But I'm brought back
By a force I cannot fight
Floating away from you
I love the freedom that I get
But you didn't want me to stay there
You wanted me back, I'll bet
I'm not made for this game
I can stay or go, not both
I won't let you lose me again
This is my solemn oath
This time I'm different
I'm going to make things change
So put me in your pocket
Don't throw me away again |
