| First off, I really don't care about the Oscars. There are only really a couple of actors who I'm really a big fan of, and I don't care if a performance wins an award or not - it's the performance that counts for me, not how many awards it wins.
Second, I haven't seen ANY of these movies, so I'm not really in a position to judge. I based my vote on which actor I thought was best in the films I've seen. I voted for Johnny Depp because although Clooney and Mortensen are good, I don't think they're as charismatic as Depp... There will be people who disagree, and feel free. That's just how I feel.
And I didn't vote for Johnny Depp because he's hot, as I actually don't think he's that good looking. In Pirates of the Caribbean, yes. Most of the time, no. Actors can be good without being hot. | | +1 @ 21-02-2008 20:12 Your_Marionette |

| Johnny Depp all the way!!  (...And not just for the hotness factor) He seriously deserves to win. He did awesome in Sweeney Todd... and personally I thought he was a surprisingly good singer... It's pretty sad he's never won an Oscar - not even for pirates - considering how long he's been in the business.
