13,962 posts	That must be so weird. It reminds me of a swedish soap opera I used to watch many years ago, where almost the same thing happened, but they were never married, and their parents knew and could stop them. But the fact that it could really happen is kinda scary

To be honest those could just come across as coincidences. I have so many things between me and Scott that are just coincidences but if you looked at it in a different light they could be considered more than a concidence.

977 posts	Apparently, its false. I heard on the radio (and yeah I know that its not always a reliable source but bleh) anyway I heard that the story was false. That a judge had made a throwaway remark about twins being adopted then marrying before realising they were related and having to divorce AS PART OF a speech supporting allowing adopted children to trace their ancestry and the newspapers jumped all over it and madeup or extrapolated details to the case to make it seem more 'human', but that after a search of all legal records no trace was found of such a case being heard before a judge (as in no record of them getting divorced was found)

12 posts	Even if the story isn't true, I still believe that knowledge of your biological family is important. I believe that if a child wants to know who his/her biological parents are, then they are entitled to that kind of information.

263 posts	Ok if the story is true it's really sad. They luved each other so much 2 get married and now they have 2 b ripped apart. It really dus show how much kids shud b entitled 2 knowing who their parents r. I feel so bad 4 them that i almost want them 2 b able 2 get married even tho it wud b incest. But then if they do stuff there's always that thot in the back of ur head that i' doing this w/ my twin. Ewwww. I just wish the best of luck 2 them.
