| yep, well its official.......yeah arnold.....was it the right choice? i think so, you know its hard to chose someone to do a good job......but hey, its cool. lol random but cool. as long as the schools actually get some money, its all good |

| lol like when i first heard she was running i totally thought they said mariah cary...i was like what???? lol yeah....it was a scary scary moment...but yeah, i dunno, arnold might do an ok job. i really dont like davis just cuz of what hes done to the schools. like ok so my school the normal budget is like $150,000 a year, but now they had to cut back to $49,000 which is a massive reduction and my school is in such a crisis right now, not all davis' fault i know but there was a lot to do w/ him....he sucks | | 0 @ 08-10-2003 05:28 anoobis | 15,407 posts

| Actually Puddle, I wish I could send you the article, last week the Sacramento Bee published an article that went into extreme depth onto how Davis was actually set up to take the fall for many of California's recent problems, which were actually created by Republicans. | Lol Dek, wouldn't effect the US even if Enrique rules PR, it's a US territory, not a state, they aren't represented in congress (as far as I'm aware).

| El_Mono_Loco, yeah i think i know which article you are referring to, but yeah i realize that not all was davis' fault, however, i feel tat he added to it, by giving more money to others that should have gon to the schools, he said when he ran that he was all about schools, and so the teachers union voted for him or gave thier support i guess, but then he turned right around and ignored, and we dont live in a particuarly rich area anyways, but we have a wonderful school district, very high success rate, but we cant keep going w/ the tiny amount of money we have......but yeah no it wasnt all davis fault.....we had a crappy superintendant....and the school board is crooked too......yeah so this is what happened right, the teachers sent round a vote of confidence right of the board, and majority said that they had no confidence, and then literally llike 2 months later, the board took a raise in salary..........stuff is so wrong sometimes, and it makes me mad there is nothing i can do to stop it | | 0 @ 09-10-2003 12:46 Groovejet | 5,848 posts
