Well I suppose this one depends on what you mean by "missing".

If the someone you are "missing" has died, I would recommend "Life is Beautiful" by Sixx AM. Not sure about if they're gone away and it's been a long time since last you saw them. I'll try to find something good for that one.

Here are a few upbeat emo/sensitive songs about being in love:

"Wake Up"- Eskimo Joe
"All For You" - Goodnight Nurse
"Delilah"- Plain White Tee's

It's hard to come up with upbeat emo songs, but hope this helps
