I voted yes, i would let ppl download my songs. Just wonderin, if u voted no, y? in my opinion, artists should let their music be shared, and make their money from concerts, the hard way. besides, it's the music industry that's robbing artists, not downloaders, when an artist gets 5 cents on every dollar of CD sales.

Realistically though (if you are a good artist)..you'de be making soo much more than that through concerts and such.

Well, if you were a genuine artist you'd make the music to express your feelings (like so many artists claim to do) and you wouldn't be so bothered about the money. If I was an artist i wouldn't mind how people heard my music.

I agree...(Yes). Personally, I buy more CDs now that I can DL songs because I can hear more of the CD and I know whether or not it's good. I don't like to buy CDs if there's a chance that only the single's good and the rest sucks.
I also heard that CD sales have actually gone up since Napster and the whole ordeal.
Also, I say this now, but I think I'd stick to it...they have so much money anyway...I love music, therefore, if I were in the industry, it wouldn't be for the money--it would be because of my love for music.
