Which way do you see the dancer turning? Clockwise or Anti(counter)-clockwise?

Oh, and I think I might be onto something. My friend and I were looking at this together. We both started off seeing it turn clockwise and I got it to go counter clockwise while he still saw it clockwise. He eventually saw it go the other way as well, but often when I look away or close it and reopen it it is going clockwise again. So my question to all of you is which way is it going when you first look at it, before you get it to start going backwards and forwards and everything.

okay, that is a perfect picture to demonstrate in which direction she is looking

look at the shadow! There is no shadow of the foot that is in the air .. hence the foot must be in front of the body!! so she is facing to the right front

if that foot was behind the body, there would have been a shadow of it

But do you see how it COULD be facing to the back right? Or at least the legs facing to the back right? Idk its so confusing!

of course it is confusing .. that is the whole point .. since it's only a silhouette, you can't distinguish between front and back

Ok, I think I got that thing from earlier working now. So, I think this might be sort of like this ballerina thing... tell me what you think.

If you stare at this picture long enough
you should be able to see a giraffe.
This is weird. Give it a try.

okay so.... am I the only one that just saw the girl going back and forth.. like she turns right then she turns left.. haha that's all I see.

I used to have this cd player when I was a kid... and it had this circle cut into like 5 pieces and they would flash in a revolving circle, and I could stare at it and make it go backwards, so I know you can do it... I'm just not sure with a lil picture?

But yea.. she's just going back and forth when I look at it.

I could only see it going clockwise at first, then I read Eduardo's comment about tilting the head and it went anti-clockwise!

Ok, me and my mum just watched it together (she came downstairs to use the toilet, I dragged her to the computer). She's adament that she just switches legs.
