1 posts	God I feel old around in here, I´m 31 ! I live in Finland and love it. My father is from the U.S. and my mom from here so I have lived in both countries. I love the States as well, for some things, but the fact I used to live in Mississippi down South, was a total shock. I have no intentions of spending my life in there...Compared to that athmosphere (it had), it is so refreshing to live in a generally whole lot more open-minded place. That would be here I could say this in general: It´s up to you how you adjust. I have a huge circle of friends in here - family with 2 beautiful children - I enjoy my work. People are warm and genuine over here. Altho´I can say that the fact I speak Finnish helps a lot - those who don´t, easier tend to feel left out or harder to connect with people. Finns are too concerned about their foreign language skills and feel shy talking English. In general that is I have friends from other countries that have moved here. They get asked so much what on earth brought them here? The normal answer is "I lost my mind and moved here!" I think that explains it the best, people go crazy and find it pretty comfortable in here

26 posts	Johan onki suomalaisia.. Minäki!! And I have heard that finnish is the MOST hardest language to learn.. I readed that from Helsingin Sanomat few year ago..
